St Francis Thrift Store Provides Grant for Meals

St. Francis Thrift Store, a long-time supporter of Meals on Wheels, Bluffton-Hilton Head, has again awarded a much-needed grant to support the growing meal program. Their support is critical to the program and offers the necessary funds to reduce the wait list.

“Our hearts break when we receive a call from a person needing meals and have to tell them we have a wait list,” explained Lili Coleman, executive director. “We are researching all possible solutions to the growth we see in our community of people 60 and older who are in need of a daily meal to fight off hunger.”

St. Francis Thrift Store provides support to many nonprofits in our community.
